Updated: Dec 24, 2022
Las Vegas, NV: SmartWorks Development announces the addition of another turnkey solution offering to the SmartWorks portfolio. SmartWorks Charging will focus exclusively on providing turnkey services for EV Charging Network operators and EV Charging Station hosts.
SmartWorks Charging will provide property owners and developers best in class turnkey smart solutions by working with established Electric Vehicle OEMs and network operators on behalf of property owners. Owners can then focus on meeting their core business needs without devoting critical resources to the complex task of sourcing the best EV solution for their property. EV charging stations are rapidly evolving as more than just locations to charge vehicles as required. Charging stations, and the networks that connect them, will provide critical smart infrastructure opportunities for a variety of future use case scenarios. With this latest offering, SmartWorks Charging will connect a variety stakeholders with services that promote greener, smarter, faster charging and network solutions for the future.
In December, the Biden Administration announced it is releasing an EV Charging Action Plan to outline steps federal agencies are taking to support developing and deploying chargers in American communities across the country. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law includes $5 billion in formula funding for states with a goal to build a national charging network. 10% is set-aside each year for the Secretary to provide grants to States to help fill gaps in the network. The Law also provides $2.5 billion for communities and corridors through a competitive grant program. Together, this is the largest-ever U.S. investment in EV charging and will be a transformative down payment on the transition to a zero-emission future.
SmartWorks Development was launched in 2021 by members of SmartWorks Partners (SWP), a leading provider of smart city solutions and consulting services to states and municipalities around the country.
